Flagons Den is serendipity for start-ups

A social for London’s technology entrepreneurs.

Our Classic pitch practice is a light-hearted social framed around sharing ideas and discussing them in an intimate group of your peers.

We make sure everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and their ideas. After all, how else are you supposed to get serendipity?

Flagons Den: serendipity for start-ups

Dear Flagons,
I don’t know whether it is a common entrepreneurial trait, but I often find myself bored and needing to entertain myself. But just entertaining myself is boring, so naturally group stuff is always more exciting…

What am I angling at? We should reprise the London Nude Tech Calendar: http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/gallery/2009/nov/18/nude-london-tech-calendar#/?picture=355758073&index=9

On a more sane note, don’t forget to tweet out your big idea for The Flagons Den Classic. We will pick the best ideas based on retweets and ambition. *use the format below*

.@flagonsden #MVP [your idea] http://london.flagonsden.com/events/80598442

We’re keeping the venue a secret, so the only way in is to tweet your idea. Also, check out the other ideas and chat to the proposers:http://twitter.com/flagonsden

And if you are worried your idea is unrealistic, remember: https://twitter.com/levie/status/261993540542951424

Helping early stage entrepreneurs with what’s next

For newbies, what happens at Flagons Den: Everyone in the room take turns to stand up, introduce who they are, what they do and if they had a crazy idea to pitch, what that would be. From there, conversation ensues based on anything that piques the interest of others in the room.

We keep the group size small enough to ensure the conversations are intimate and varied. Everyone leaves having been able to share ideas in a relaxed environment. That is what makes Flagons Den special: no pressure, just chatter.
